Home I am an Indian Music performer and a Indian Music teacher based in Dubai. I was always painfully aware of the lack of understanding that Indian Classical Music enjoys. This is a small contribution towards improving the understanding of Indian Classical Music. This site focuses mainly on the vocal aspect. Since Indian Classical Music can be said to be as old as the Indian culture which spans several centuries back. It underwent many changes as the social fabric changed. On this site we will only be exploring Indian Classical Music in it's today's form. The beauty of Indian classical Music lies in it's limitlessness. That is the performer is limited only by his /her imagination. There exists only a loose frame work of the raag inside which you can let your imagination go really wild. After assimilating all this information, one can understand the presentation of a concert in a better way and enjoy it more. The only way to further this process is to listen to Indian Classical Music concerts more and more. Click on any of the articles on the right to gain an insight in to Indian Classical Music. I suggest that you go through them in a sequence so as to follow a logical pattern.
